Heavy Heart

So, this year has been rough.

Finding out that Patrick Swayze has dies is like the straw. This camel's back is broken. To be quite honest, it's not just this year. I mean, if you want, you can go back as far as Aaliyah's untimely death. Just the "famous" people from my youth, dying!

I am just coming to terms with Michael Jackson's death, but I haven't totally decided NOT to go out and find all his albums and buy them up. Grass hasn't even had time to sprout on his grave site and I wake up this morning to discover that Johnny has died! Watching Patrick and Jennifer perform in Dirty Dancing was fantabulous! I had a HUGE crush on Patrick and it was because of that movie.

When I think of Patrick Swayze, I think of Keila. She was my best friend all while growing up. We would watch the heck out of that movie. Both pretending he was our husband. We had such good times together. We don't keep in touch now, but I have a soft spot in my heart for her. She was my 1st best friend ever! Gosh, I miss her...

Anyway, I'm just sitting here watching the special on Swayze with Barbara Walters. Nostalgic for yesteryear. Ho-hum...
