On Friday nights, Andrew goes to an Art class through the Parks and Rec Dept. This is something that Andrew and I do for quality time. Well, Arik went to Lincoln, NE for a football game, so I had to take Aiden with us. Here are some pictures of Andrew's completed works of art:

The materials used to make these drawings were sandpaper and crayons. Who would have thought to draw on sandpaper? The basis for the drawing is that they talked about how different Native American tribes used drawings to communicate. Andrew was able to rattle off to me what the symbols that adorn the sides of his artwork stood for. He was really listening....
